Dropping in here with a share on energetics and I wanna talk about self abandonment and people pleasing. And these are two. Topics that every time it comes up in a one-to-one session and somebody has this realization, they're like, oh my God, I had no idea I was self abandoning. I had no idea I was people pleasing because people, so many people think that they're not people pleasers because they look at it in the very obvious way of saying yes. All the time and oh my gosh, I'll just do that and I'll do that. And yes, that is like a highly known form of people pleasing, but there is a really subtle form of people pleasing that ends up resulting in so much self abandonment. And so, what I found with this is like self abandonment is to me, we keep abandoning ourselves to belong to a version of us that doesn't feel real anymore. So that might look like in the past you would've said yes to all the things, but there's still like times when it's so subtle that it just drops in of this automatic habit to just say yes, when you really do mean no. And it's like you feel it in your body, your body speaking to you. And this is like this abandoning the sensation, the intuitive nudge that you feel inside your body. Like, I should not be doing this. Like to give you context, okay, so last year I was invited to facilitated a retreat and it did feel like a yes, yes, yes. As many of us are who are very high achieving, we follow through with our commitments, right? And it's. So hard for us to say at any given time, like, this doesn't feel right to me anymore. We have a tendency to just follow through because we said yes, and it was right before this retreat was supposed to happen. And I knew that I should not go. I just had this full body feeling like I should not be going to this retreat. I should not be facilitating. And in fact, I even sent the facilitator a note saying, I just don't think I'm in a place to do this. the response back was that she was oh my gosh, what am I gonna do? And then I felt bad. And also a really dear friend and client was going on this retreat and I felt like, oh my gosh, I'm gonna let her down if I don't go. Anyways, there were good things that came outta the retreat, but there were also a lot of things that I was feeling like, wow. You know, it was that, that what my body, what my intuition was really telling me of, how this was going to go and I had to face a lot of things and I, my body was in a full visceral reaction while I was out there. I was having like massive GI stuff. Fevers, rashes, the whole thing because my body was screaming this is not safe to be here. There was a lot of projection happening onto me on this retreat. However, that said, I still believe that even if we abandon what we feel like, what our intu intuition is telling us is like. Even if we don't acknowledge that, we still get a lot of learned lived wisdom out of it. It's just going to be more uncomfortable. And so I learned the very uncomfortable way how to see myself in my power, how to come back from that retreat and fully let somebody go who does did not respect me. It's like, but also like when we abandon ourselves, we're, when we abandon that inner knowing, it's like we're telling ourselves that we're here live through these wounds longer, like learn these lessons harder. And I, what I've realized from that moment on is I'm no longer available to live these lessons hard. I I am no longer available to even have this type of karmic lesson be thrown at me anymore, where I have to go in and fully experience this, betrayal and projection, that it like hits my body so hard that I literally get sick, and I have these visceral reactions and then have to come home and emotionally work through it. So this is what happens when we abandon ourselves. we have the inner knowing or we have the moments where. You know, we say yes when we, mean no, or we're afraid to change our mind. In that case, I was afraid of truly disappointing last minute in, in that moment, you know? And that is self abandonment because inside I knew I was not, I should not be going on that. And I see this all the time in women where we doubt. We doubt that clarity. We doubt what we know. We doubt what we feel. We doubt our intuition and. Often, this will result in a lot of gaslighting back to us, and that can be in very subtle forms or very massive forms of gaslighting. And gaslighting is basically where somebody makes you think that your reality is not actually true. I. That what you're experiencing is not actually true and with really intuitive women, women that sense and feel and see so much. This is often the case. We sense and feel and see so much that it can almost be hard to, to trust that it's like. Do I really sense that about that person, but well, they're nice here, but then other times I just get a weird vibe about them and I'm not really sure, or I must not be true and this is our intuition speaking to us. Or you get a sense felt in your sense, felt sensation in your body when you're around somebody that just, you just don't feel right with that person. Right? And so oftentimes these hints are so subtle and we deny them. And we ignore them because we think it's. Because it's intuitive. We haven't actually seen the evidence. Right. We haven't seen the evidence of I know that to be true. But here's the thing we don't need to see the evidence to know for it to be true. We are deeply sensing. Strong women who really do have a lot of grounded, intentional awareness. Like everybody in here is successful, is brilliant, is smart, is grounded. You're not a floaty spiritual like woman just floating in the ether, you know? Playing in a fairy garden all day long, and that's totally cool to play in a fairy garden. Don't get me wrong. But you're not doing it all day long. You're doing it for fun just to kind of let your inner child go. But in real life you actually have created a ton of success and, and you're very grounded and, you're probably pretty organized in most layers of life. I mean. You know, and so it's like this interesting thing is like, why do we mistrust that, hit that knowing? Why do we self abandon that intuitive knowing? And then what happens is like we always have to pay the price and it's going to be a much more karmic lesson, a harder karmic emotional lesson than if we acknowledge that intuitive nudge and don't say yes when we mean no, or release people very quickly if they're just not. For us, right? Or if we get a weird vibe. And so this is really, to me, one of the most important things to look at in our day to day is like, how do we self abandon? And we can do this in so many ways. In business it can look like, well, I'll launch it later. I just need more clarity. What if nobody gets it? What if nobody buys it? And so we don't do the thing. And sometimes it can look like, the thing that you wanna say, but you don't because you're afraid it might disappoint somebody. Like again, the offer you wanna sell, but delay because you fear it won't work or you fear speaking about the offer is gonna be too salesy when you're here to market yourself it's saying yes, even when you're entire body is like screaming. No. It's the part of you that truly knows exactly what you want, but then immediately questions if it's too much, or if you'll be understood, or if it's going to, and this is, this is kind of the worst self abandonment. And this is where the people pleasing comes in because we selfa abandon out of fear of truly upsetting somebody else. And so then we're trying to hold them energetically. We are trying to hold them from experiencing discomfort based on what actually is going to bring us satisfaction. And so self abandonment is very subtle and it is a cumulative effect, and oftentimes it can wear a mask of strength. Well, I'm just gonna go to this retreat. Like I said, I'm gonna go to this retreat and do this, and I'm strong. I can do it. And like, my insides were just completely unraveling, and so it wasn't such an obvious way, but it was completely overextending. And then went into this, over-delivering and wasn't even seen. And this is another thing is like with self abandonment, is often we're accommodating people who don't even meet us. It's not even reciprocal. And mostly because we don't wanna be misunderstood or seen as not the good girl, and so a lot of this is survival based. It's survival based strategy. It is things that we have learned and how to cope in our lives. It's, it's things that we've learned through childhood. It's things we've learned through watching what our mothers did, what sometimes even our fathers, but a lot of the feminine lineage in our lines, because this is like a strong feminine energetics. And at Feminine Energetics. And so we've, we've learned to do this. It's, we've learned to essentially like shapeshift and mold into the people around us, and sometimes at the cost that we forget who we actually are and it that's when it's like really extreme when maybe you've been in a. Toxic job situation that, you know, you were meant to leave like years ago, or in a really toxic relationship or toxic friendship that you know, this is not for me. And it's like staying in it for years and years and years and years. And self abandoning, self abandoning that, knowing that deepener knowing, that's when it like really gets to be almost that point of, you start to not even know who you are anymore. And so what this awesomely does is it actually creates lack of self-trust and one of the biggest energetic gaps that I see in people is not trusting themselves. What happens is when we self abandon and we go into care making sure that everybody else is taken care of before ourselves, we end up not trusting ourselves. We end up freezing and not taking action, or at least not aligned action. It's just. Safe enough action. It's just the safe enough choice that we don't have to go into the really massively uncomfortable place where we actually have to sit and, and witness somebody being disappointed in us. But to to, to that programming is like that. Fear can literally, fear, feel so big and so pronounced, especially if you have had a lot of trauma. Or Microtraumas. Not everybody realizes like there's complex trauma. That doesn't mean like you were sexually abused or physically abused or went through massive abuse. There is a lot of complex trauma that falls. In these like small micro traumas that, you know, bullying in school you know, a parent that really wasn't emotionally there where you had a lot of heavy restrictions placed on you as a child or perhaps not really ever seen unless you were successful. These are all like complex traumas in ways that, you know, will make us self abandon and then ultimately go into more of that people pleasing and then eventually we just don't trust ourselves. So this is a big one that I feel like we're really moving through right now energetically, as the collective is Mercury has gone direct. Mercury did go direct on April 7th, and Venus is going direct here soon. And we also have the Libra Full Moon. And with the Libra Full Moon. I feel like this is going to be illuminating the light on these energetics because Libra, at the shadow aspect is people pleasing, is that self abandonment to keep everybody else happy. It is the energetic holding of other people. It's like, well. You know I, I'll, I won't tell you that because I don't wanna make you upset. Instead, I'll just energetically hold your emotions to make sure that you are okay. But in the meantime, I'm silently suffering, right? And these are truly survival based strategies that we've had to learn. This is how we had to grow up. This can also be strongly affected by Chiron in your chart. This is also affected by your past experiences that have played out, that have further perpetuated these wounds of what you experienced growing up. And then also in how the relationships that we call forward are direct mirrors, direct mirrors of our internal landscape. So if you self abandon, you are going to call in people that abandon you as well. If you emotionally neglect yourself, which is self abandonment, you are going to call in people who. Emotionally neglect you too. If you fear like doing things in your business, you're gonna get clients that really don't see you. You might not even get clients, period, to be honest. Like, and that's the worst, right? So, you know, self abandonment is also when you're not being visible and allowing your full truth, allowing your gifts to be seen. And that's a huge form of self abandonment that you know, you have something magical to give to the world, but you silently sit. Back out of fear outta fear of rejection, judgment, prosecution. What will people think? You know, will I be misunderstood? Will I not belong? Will I lose like the sense of belonging with certain people that I think are my people? Right? And here's what I have to say to all of this is like. You can heal a lot of self abandonment in your current relationships by setting healthy boundaries, learning to sit and and really honor how do I feel in my internal landscape? What am I feeling today? I do this practice every single day. Every day. There's not a day that I miss this. I have learned in my 47 years that this is a non-negotiable for me. Okay. And it might sound extreme, but to me, this is the only way that I feel like I can have really healthy, energetic sovereignty in my relationships, in my friendships, in my workout routines, in my health, in my business, especially with clients, with my offers, with everything. It's like, how am I feeling about this? How am I feeling about the way that I'm showing up? How do I feel about the way that. You know, say like, Ryan and I are communicating, you know, what needs to shift in me? If that, if that feels off, it feel, if it feels great, then I just reflect on like, oh my gosh, this feels so great.'cause I wanna call in more of this. And it's like sinking into gratitude. But it's, it's this constant energetic barometer of how is my body feeling? How is my body feeling when I, eat certain things. and I pay attention the next day and notice how I'm feeling. Because if we don't pay attention to how our body's feeling with what we eat, what we digest, what we're moving through, like we're self abandoning and then we're going into inflammation and we're becoming all inflamed with everybody else's energy and all the foods and all the crap that we're putting into our body, and it's like we're then self abandoning. Especially if we continue to put things into our body that we know are actually causing that. So this is the vibe that we're moving in over this week, and I wanted to share this around this because I feel like self abandonment is so sneaky. Most people don't even realize how often they do it. I know for myself, I've gotten really good at recognizing it, but there's still moments where I'm like, ah, shit, I just did that. You know, I just did that. And it's not about being perfect. We're not here to be perfect, and, and sometimes we just have to learn that lesson and we're here to learn the lesson and, and, and, and recognize. And to me, my lesson anymore is knowing that I feel uncomfortable, right? I don't wanna have the karmic emotional pain and backlash of it. So I've made it a really conscious choice to declare out loud to the universe, to God, to source, to my guides, to my body. I'm no longer available for the harsh lessons. Right. This gets to be easier, you know, and, and once you learn these, you start to have like these really healthy conversations. Your relationships improve dramatically. Like you can talk like my, the new VA that I'm speaking with and. That group, I'm just so freely talking and sometimes I'm like, oh my gosh, should I say this? I had a web, a landing page come over to me and there was things I didn't like about it, and so I have to share about this, you know, and I have to share about it in a healthy way, in a way that like I'm speaking my truth and I'm not. You know, I'm not like being mean, right? But this is what I want and we have to learn to share what we want, what makes us feel good, and get really comfortable with that because it actually is just a natural part of conversation, a natural way of life. But when we have been through these microtraumas and we have learned to self abandon and people please, and, and, and overdeliver, and overextend ourselves and hold everybody else's energy up, those conversations will literally leave us. Spinning in insomnia nights, where we just fear it's not even setting a boundary because I truly believe boundaries. We only need to set boundaries if we have self abandoned so much that it's time to be like, oh my gosh, I gotta really put this out there. And that is like the beginning steps. When you've been in this pattern for a long time, you do need to be more assertive and say, this is what I need. But if you were in this dialogue with yourself and you are. Truly connecting in with your body, your emotional landscape, really looking at your overall life of what feels good, what doesn't feel good? How does this feel? How does this feel? You know what I mean? You're really having this conversation with yourself. You're naturally setting boundaries by sharing what you want. What makes you feel good. By holding these conversations, by saying, Where you wanna go out to eat, even if your significant other is like, I don't wanna go there. You know you're naturally doing this. And so then the whole need to actually set these boundaries doesn't become so eminent. You're naturally reflecting a, a way that people aren't gonna like come into your field and truly try to take advantage. And I, I, I really believe that when that happens, it's, it's our responsibility to look in with us. Why am I being taken advantage of? One of me is allowing this pattern to happen and how, what, what, how, and what do I need to, like, sorry, what do I need to do? How do I need to continue to show up and have these conversations so that that doesn't continue to happen? So I leave you with that and I hope this brought some illumination around this like really important topic. I mean, this is one of the most important topics because so many women do not have the conversations that they know that they need to have, and they walk around with lingering energy that ultimately what's gonna happen, it's gonna create resentment, and you're gonna get pissed off and you're gonna go into sacred rage. Now that's not a bad place to be because Sacred Rage is actually a powerful transformative portal. When we feel that we're gonna come into action. It's like when the woman has had enough, they've had enough. They've just had enough. And that can be a really potent, powerful place to be. But resentment is the silent killer, right? We don't wanna be in resentment, we wanna be in satisfaction through the day. We do not wanna be resenting the people that are closest to us and, and the joy of life and the, the moments and the journeys and the experiences, right? We don't wanna be resenting them, we wanna be in satisfaction with them. We wanna be absorbing them and holding them. But it's really hard to, if we are ignoring every ounce of anything, a conversation that needs to be, had, an inner knowing of what needs to be done and and you know what I mean? Like we're, we're then self abandoning and that that resentment is a silent killer. It, and again, so the rage can be a powerful action portal, but we don't wanna be there all the time. It creates so much inflammation in the body. We've gotta feel it. We've gotta let it out. But when we are in it all the time, we, all we are doing is creating inflammation in our life and in our bodies. So love you guys. I'll drop more about the energetics of the astrology, but I really wanted to give you something here to mull on and contemplate as we move through this week. Because as the Libra Full Moon gets closer and closer and Venus is going direct, this is what we've been learning in this cycle. This is what we've been playing with energetically and we're gonna have more illumination around this and how we have self abandoned, and neglected ourselves and stuffed away. What we really like not said, what we know needs to be said.
